What Is the AED Act?
South Australia has introduced the Automated External Defibrillators (Public Access) Act 2022, requiring Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in public and private buildings to improve community safety during Sudden Cardiac Arrest(SCA) emergencies.
Here's what you need to know

Here are some chilling truths about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)9 out of 10 people will not survive an out-of-hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrest

If a Sudden Cardiac Arrest is not treated properly and quickly, it will cause death within 10 minutes
Reference: Restart a Heart Day
For every minute that passes without defibrillation after the start of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, chances of survival are reduced by 10%

55 Australians suffer from a Sudden Cardiac Arrest everyday

Do you know how to help when someone is suffering from a Sudden Cardiac Arrest?
The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from Fresh & Clean is a portable electronic device that diagnoses life-threatening abnormal heart rhythms that can cause a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. An AED might be able to treat these abnormal heart rhythms by giving an electric shock to try to restart the heart’s normal rhythm. This is known as defibrillation.
If someone is having a cardiac arrest, they will not be conscious or breathing normally. They need immediate help by calling Triple Zero (000), starting CPR, and using a defibrillator (AED).
Why Choose Fresh & Clean Automated External Defibrillators (AED)
User-friendly Design:
Our portable AEDs are user-friendly, with simple press-button technology and step-by-step voice instructions, catering to both trained everyone.Clear Visual and Voice Prompts:
Our defibrillators offer clear visual and voice prompts for easy CPR and shock delivery. Their two-button operation streamlines the process.System Status Indicator:
Stay informed with our System Status Indicator, ensuring readiness with weekly self-checks for safety and reliability.Advanced Technology:
Proprietary electrode technology and SCOPE™ biphasic technology automatically adjust for differences in patient response to CPR.Portability and Durability:
Smaller and lighter than other defibrillators to accommodate limited space in an office, public space, or vehicle.Robust Build:
Our AEDs are designed for durability, with shock, dust, and moisture resistance, making them ideal for challenging workplace environments. Why are Automated External Defibrillators (AED) important?
AED’s are important because they substantially increase the patient’s chance of survival during a cardiac episode. When a person suffers from sudden cardiac arrest, their chance of survival decreases by 7-10% for each minute that passes without intervention.AEDs can deliver a life-saving electric shock, which often means difference between life or death. Anyone can use a defibrillator and start CPR to try and save a life of someone in Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
